Dental Care

Do you brush you pet’s teeth? I know some of you think that this is a crazy question, but did you know that by age 2, 70% of cats and 80% of dogs have some sign of dental disease. If left untreated it can become sever and lead to tooth loss, bad breath, difficulty eating, and pain that can affect the pet’s quality of life. Bacteria in the mouth can travel through the blood stream and impact vital organs like the heart, liver, and kidneys. It takes only 48 hours for plaque to harden and as it builds up it mineralizes and forms tartar (dental calculus) that causes the gums to recede. Brushing a pet’s teeth at least every other day can help prevent this from happening.

February is Pet Dental Month and we are offering a 15% discount on all dental cleanings. Please give our office a call to schedule your appointment today.
